Thanks man!! Yours is pretty freakin sweet too! I understand the separation during flexing, but this is on level ground and the fact it's on opposite corners kinda makes me think I might have something wrong, but ima go on anti's suggestion and give it a good whack and see what happens in the future.

All you guys run in soft doors makes me wanna buy the latches for mine, but why are they so expensive!?!

I found my latch set on CL for $20. I got some older style cj latches that u can have man.

They bolt right up, but its just a different latch style. Easy fab, I just happened to come across my set within a day of getting my doors so I didn't ever make a little tab for the latch.

Mine have the cj style. I've heard of people usin em on a yj, but I don't see how.

If you have a different style for a TJ or something, post in the TJ section and offer to trade for YJs. Worked for me.

From what I saw, u weld or attach a piece of angle metal for a latch catch. Nothing fancy, it's
a pretty primitive design lol
