I understand that the connectors are different. Sorry I wasn't clear I was asking if you swapped this as well.

If you only swapped the iac connector and not this peice then this may be the problem. Other than this I don't know what else would cause it to redline.

Got my lifted motor mounts in Friday n started fabricating my transmission crossmember. Still don't know if I should bolt it to the transmission or further back on the transfer case. I want to go with a belly up skid plate n I refuse to spend 400+ on a piece of metal when I have a ton if it just laying around.
Any input is very much appreciated

The cross member mount is on the rear of the transmission. There is no mount on the t-case.
But yeah, make your own if you have the materials and skills. I would.
As always...post pics.

Guess that may be year specific, mine has a transfer case mount. It's a seperate bolt from the two tranmission mount bolts. I broke it last time I went wheeling.

love my jeep

Where to start? On my Yj? I did some plumbing with some new windshield washer pumps. Three to be exact.

I did a SYE on a TJ

I spent the better part of 8 hours swapping over power steering on a Yj after rebuilding the steering box twice because the o-ring on the cap was gouged and leaked like a sieve. Then it turns out I get a call concerning the water pump turning the wrong way half way home for the owner and its overheating. He's luckily got another pump that turns the right way for the serpentine belt. Its been a very stressful day but hopefully this week I will find a new switch and place to mount it.

Not crazy about all the brown on the decal...but wanted to support the forum, so I did a quick mod and turned the TJ into a YJ, cut the brown off and this is the result. Not perfect, but it works.
