Ugh nothing worse than that kind of humidity!

Not too much lately since ive been working on getting my subaru back and moving apartments, but I got my tailgate painted and ready for install. Didn't come out how I had hoped. Paint color is off and not very smooth, plus u can see my shi*ty bondo job.. I may sand it back to metal and just match my corners with the satin black gate.

The hoop for my dad's JKU didnt really match the look of his bumper nor have light tabs so after welding tabs on it still just didn't look right... I ended up reusing the old light hoop had had (that only worked with the stock bumper not the XHD). Here it is while I was playing around to get a feel for how it would look before I tacked it to the brackets.

Means I get dibs on the smaller hoop which now has light tabs so I'll make it work with my front bumper when I get the chance. Not the best pic but once I get those lights off I'll do this again to get a better idea how the front end would look

(obviously the hoop wouldn't sit that far back, I just had nowhere else to put it while sorta-centered on the bumper!)

So I bought this YJ 2 weeks ago. It had a blown clutch in it. I had that fixed and last weekend I installed a Rough Country 4" lift, New SS break lines, dual front stabilizer and 33" Mickey Thompson ATZ's on it. I had a couple of issues during the install which was a couple of rusted bolts and miss information from Rough Country. I am happy with the kit but they are lacking in providing the right info for the installation.

Looks good. Its ashame it'll sag to 2 inches over the course of the next year or two. They are cheap for a reason

Looks good in the pics! Body work and paint take a lot of hours and elbow grease to get right. My white paint doesn't quite.match and closer than 5 feet you can see my rushed bondo job, but for 5 hours of work it ain't bad.
I want a cj gate so bad. Looks killer bro.

Cheers

Ordered a cab cover with door flaps from Quadratec. I tried to get a discount from them by letting them know I was a JF member, but he said "No". Anyone getting discounts from them?
