Moved it out into the rain so i could change the oil in the zj. It's funny how much peppier the yj is than the zj. The v8 zj feels like a grandma car whenever I drive it after the yj

It's pretty nice out today...thinking about stripping the Rhino off and rattle canning it today. I was thinking about having the whole thing repainted by Maaco or something, but meh. Eventually most of it will be covered by Armor anyways.

I do have to get the Rhino off though. Talked to both Metalcloak and Poison Spyder, and both of them told me that I will almost certainly have fitment issues with the rear corner guards if I don't get the Rhino off. I know I'm a month+ away from being able to afford the rear corners (grumble grumble...exwife...grrrrrr) but no reason I can't prep for it now

Oh and I ordered a Ruff Stuff 8.8 kit. Off the top of your head, does anyone know the part number or where I should pick up the driveshaft flange adapter for cheap? It's the only part I haven't seemed to book mark for the 8.8 swap....

Cheers

Any you pull it, or pick and pull. Just pull one off a ford explorer. I got mine for 12 bucks. Beats 65.

In the middle of doing the passenger axle seal and I already messed up 2 seals.

Anyone have any suggestions so I dont screw up my last one and have to leave the jeep like this for a few days?

I removed the hard top and installed a Bestop super top it's been raining on and off all day and I couldn't get it out in the sun so it would stretch so one of the zippers won't close all the way

Bookmarked this thread awhile back. Good write up in my opinion. Hope it helps.

That's a nice color.

I bent that stinger winch mount already. Actually did it last weekend. Don't get towed from it without beefing up the winch plate.
Alls good though I still like it and I straightened it by ramming a tree. :-)
