Ordered some rocker guards. Should cover up some rust. Got it with the step, but I'm not sure if I like that sticking out. If not, I'll just cut it off and call it a learning expense.

Eff the pics, where's the vid?



Cut the passenger motor mount off. Need to shave off the excess then grind smooth. Any tips to do it quickly???

really rough grit flap disc worked 10x better than a grinding wheel

then just press really hard on the grinder till it slows down a little and the piece you are grinding will get red hot really fast. then it pretty much just melts away. (i am not responsible if your HF grinder takes a **** doing this)

That takes a proper grinder to adios it. I always keep a big one around in the shop for such jobs.

or a longer sawzawll blade to get real close to the frame with it. then kill it with the grinder

Never had any issues with my makita and a flap disc. Takes it all off rather quickly.

Got my jeep to a shop, for ac refill. Blowing some damn cold air now they owe me 2 caps for the filler fittings cause the tech forgot them on top of the latch of the hood lol thats what i get for going last moment before they close i guess. Added some more steering fluid to the system since the flush yesterday. No leaks and feels good.

Also fixed a hissing from some vac lines linked to the heater control thanks to another forum member. Still don't know what purpose they serve but they are hooked up right at least

Why not just fill it with one of those refrigerant fillers from Autozone for like 25 bucks? Takes like 5 min

Ordered Rusty's airtube to install with my ford injectors and looking for a 4.0 throttle body so I can get it all done at once.

Put a cab curtain in today. Makes my jeep like a super cool short bed truck. It is badass and totally gets rid of the wind blowing back through the center when driving. Keeps all animals out of front seat area when doors are on also so a plus there too. Now though, requires ac hose to be fixed because lack of wind makes it very hot to ride in when doors are on.

I bought this so the wife would ride in my jeep and not complain. She will only ride in her four door wrangler because the wind always blew her hair so badly that she had knots from riding in mine. Plus, with Texas summer coming along, it will soon be so hot she won't ride in mine with no ac so have to fix it soon or I will be stuck driving the 07 jku all summer when we go anywhere. My yj rides a lot nicer then her jku and mine is more fun to drive.

Not that it didn't cross my mind but cause i didn't know what was up with it and never done it before. They said it was .001 full ..There was no cold air at all coming out. Prolly cause i never even looked at it let alone service it for 12 years lol guess it held up ok

I just wanted an experienced person to take a look at it make sure everything is ok.

Next time i will be going the autozone route.

I cut it off with the flat cutting disk. Dulled 2 brand new metal blades from Home Depot on the sawzall pretty quickly....

I'll keep at it...
