Took the doors off and drove it...Really haven't done D#$% to it...

front stretch parts still sitting in the garage. Don't have the $$ for the front DS so that will wait...for my July bonus... argh!!!

Was suppose to wheel in 2 days, but had hand surgery and stitches in my palm, make shifting all day a issue!!!

Oh well. could be worse...

I don't use any of the HF hand tools/sockets. Mine are all Craftsman. But I do have a lot of their other stuff... 6 ton jack stands, etc... I have never had any problems with anything I have bought from them except a 15 gallon agriculture sprayer electric pump that went belly up. It was three years old and I took it back to the store just from curiosity. They said the pump had repeated failures and they gave me a new pump for free.

As far as what I have done to my YJ today.... I wiped some dust off the passenger side fender. You know, the area under were the hood hides it on the top. It was a pretty involved process, using a front to back wiping technique with minimal pressure so as to preserve the original scratches.

I ordered the seals, bearings and a lubelocker gasket for the D30 and a valve cover/w gasket. Hopefully my heep will stop leaking for a bit.

The SYE gets put off again

After reading some of the posts by guys running 35's on their 2.5L's I found some conflict with what I was getting out of mine. Most people said that they had a lot of trouble running 33's with the stock gearing. I felt that I was getting better results with mine on 35's. At first I thought I was just trying to self medicate the situation, but then realized I actually was getting fairly decent results with my set-up. I went on Novak and used their test to find out what rear axle gearing I am running. Come to find out the PO installed 4.88's in the D30 and D35. I guess this isn't the best thread to share this newly found information but it was great news for the YJ!!

Drove it 30 miles to two different JY's to get a fan shroud for the Comanche. Couldn't get any so it looks like I'm out another 45 bucks.

The fan clutch and coolant solved my overheating issue. But as soon as I pulled into the driveway one of the bolts for my own shroud gave way and I thought the fan went through the radiator. Managed to coast it down the driveway under my work cover thing. Was a fun ride.

Found this cool convertible Comanche at the JY too.

rebuilt my rocker arms on my 5.3. Installed comp cams trunnion replacement kit. Man what a difference with the valve train noise. I pretty much have no noise now. If you have a high milage vortec or ls series engine I would highly recommend the upgrade.

Took a lady out wheeling in the desert. She loves Jeeps and wheeling. She's super cute and I enjoyed watching her bewbs bounce haha. It was a good day. Maybe being divorced isn't so bad haha.

Cheers

Wow. Finalized already, huh? You don't seem too broken up about it.
