Haven't had a HF product fail yet! Got a floor jack, an engine crane jack, a grinder, assorted tools (just specialty ones, like stripped bolt head remover sockets, or hex head bits), a drill, etc. etc.

I probably wouldn't be buying something overly important. If these tools fail, big whoop.

I break all if their hand tools lol. I've snapped wrenches the thick way, broken every ratchet, split sockets. But for some reason my grinder won't die lol. My air impact from HF finally died. Got an Ingersoll one with something like 800+ lb/ft torque. Works great for breaking/stripping everything known to man lol

I bought one lifetime warranty and four grinders. That way, the job gets done before I have to return it to the store for a replacement.

An electric pump on MPI? I'd like to know more about the pump if that's the case. Need to figure out how to get fuel out of my fuel cell into the motor.

finished repairing the back half of the frame, removed the 8.8 perches, welded the tubes, removed the ford shock mounts, and mocked up with the new springs and shackles so i can tack the perches once i get my driveshaft and ubolts situated.

Installed a new fan clutch and topped off the coolant. I'm pretty sure that fixed the problem. I'll know for sure when I get it out in the stop and go traffic in 90* weather.

Turns out our tilled back field is a perfect place to drive around in to warm up the motor properly.

Blew a front passenger axle seal: dreading this job from what Ive heard. I already have a passenger axle shaft out of a XJ with the larger ujoint but Im not sure if I should keep the 2 piece or not. Going to start searching but if anyone has suggestions or any write ups bookmarked, feel free to post them up!

i did the 1 piece swap with my front locker and to be totally honest it doesn't drive any different. No side effects nothing. as for the seal, I've only done it that one time and it was cake. I used the threaded bar method.

The injectors from the 4.0 were in pretty bad shape, someone dropped something on top of the motor and buggered it up. So for now I just swapped my offenhauser dual port intake, rebuilt my carter 4 berrol carb, and run a computerless setup with what I had. I had to make a few modifications. But it was all gear I had on hand. Hence the simple electric fuel pump. Setup for carbs.

I know they make an external for MPI. I can ask about it at the shop today.

Fuel Gauge Reading Corrected

First Post.

Replaced my fuel sender a while back with a 20 gallon sender. - I had the unmodified 15 gallon tank. For some reason, the 20 gallon sender/ pump assembly was allot cheaper than the 15 gallon unit. Only problem was that my gauge never read full- only got to about 3/4. I was unaware of the tank mod until yesterday. Did the tank mod yesterday - all is good now- thanks for the info.

Also re-plumbed the vent line from the tank to the evaporator. The old line was rusted through at each of the frame retainer clips- like brand new everywhere else- weird.

That'd be great thanx.
