How much and what kind of welder is it? My welds today started looking really good. I was doing thicker metal and really paying attention to the pool. My trail rack should be paint-ready next time I am able to work on it.

100 Characters is not enough to have an interesting/relevant signature.

Pics as promised. I'll add even more to my build thread in a bit...
Found a use for the JKU! Hauling my YJ's junk around! Gave my buddy a bunch of crap for it. Told him my YJ just banged his JK in the booty with it's massive shafts haha.

Then we went out a wheeled for a few hours. Found a really, really fun trail with insanely cool view!

Yes I gave her angry eyes. Get over it. The 'cloaks made her look so mean I just couldn't help myself. She's looks f*cking pissed now and I love it!

Pretty awesome day today!
Gonna go do some more wheeling tomorrow afternoon. F**k yes!

cheers

Nothing special but I put some new platinum spark plugs in, broke a wire so i made a plug wire out of an old msd wire I had in the garage, but does anyone have a nice upgrade for some 4cyl plug wires? I'm suddenly in the market and would like to upgrade.

Also! Got my "new to me" grab handles thanks to dillonjm!! Thanks again man!

x2... Where's the wipers at?????

kinda silly mod on a YJ if you ask me, I can drop my windshield with the two big thumb-screws I got off a CJ, same bolt-threads and everything = same task, glass is better protected and dont have to take the wipers off...

so I think I can say...

Your jeep came from the factory with an easy tilt windshield Anti...

don't hate me, just stating the obvious...

here are the thumb screws, I found mine in a Junkyard (found this pic on google)

My jeep came from the factory with a lot of things but you'd be hard pressed to find most of them since theyre scattered across the country. The rock hard cage doesn't allow for the windshield to drop down with two little screws. There are more like eight and they're in there for good since it took quite a bit to make it fit. Sometimes adding a little fresh air or having a comfortable place to plink is worth it to some. And the wiper arms pop on and off.

I find it hard to believe you would adiós your windshield hinges anti! (j/k)

but I get your drift. The fact that windshield down cruising is 90% of my jeep's summer existence is the reason I haven't put in a cage, or offroad lights, roof racks, etc.

oh, and x2 on the fresh air. I can't wait to drop my hardtop for the summer

I've never dropped my windshield, and with the 50" up there, it won't be happening anytime soon. I've never been fond of bug-teeth

I fixed the wiring on my airhorn today and fixed the horn button, I'll confess the main reason I did this is:

ever ride a motorcycle?

every bike owner that's ridden in my jeep with the glass down loves it.

with the windshield down, it's like a bike, only you don't need a helmet (just glasses), you can drink a coffee, and talk to your passenger (both kind of tough through a helmet)

I like to keep the speed under 40 tho, with the aerodynamics of a brick, it's actually windier than a bike. cheek flapping can be fun tho sometimes

to eaches own tho, I really like those light bars

maybe someday I'll get one that mounts on the bumper/ hood

Yeah, I'm not one for motorcycles either, but dirt bikes are fun!
