I've got the same mirrors, only I turn them 90°.

You should get star washers for driving on the highway.

Finished painting the 'cloaks tonight!
One step closer to getting them on the heep!

Had to put my t-case drop back in. The pinion angle was pretty nasty and I was getting pretty good vibes from 20-40mph. Called around and shims are around $40.00 for a set. After thinking about it, screw that. I don't want to spend any money on the turdy 5, not to mention the t-case drop took me all of 20 minutes to get in, versus 4+ hours to re-shim the axle by myself. Oh well, hopefully I don't have to rock it that long. Kind of embarrassing...

Cheers

Pics!! And speaking of which, its a bit of a tradition in the military during a divorce to make ones wife famous. Not that I'm interested but it helped me feel a little better about the crap situation.

I'll get pics up tomorrow! I once again forgot my camera sitting in my buddy's garage after taking pictures of all the progress. : Got a lot on my mind lately ha!

My brother is a Marine. I get the "famous wife" texts all the time lol .

I'm sure in the coming weeks she'll break my " 'ol school, nice guy" attitude and I may honor that noble tradition....
Thanks for the support bud.
I'm more or less hoping it goes like this for me;

haha!

Cheers

Yeah I understand. I don't really see myself driving through uncharted desert space often and there are definitely no trails that have actual trees in them so I'm not to worried about that but you make a very good point. Not like I'm deciding tomorrow. For some reason I drag *** starting jeep related projects so I may not even buy the steel for it until winter or something.

I didn't really think about the star washers. I used a lock washer and so far that mirror hasn't budged. I was driving against 20 mph headwinds doing 60. I think I'll pick one up though.

Mine just has a lock washer for the mirror itself and I bolt it to the windshield without any washers and I haven't had any problems. Now I'm worried. Haha

I wish I could do 60 in the face of a 20 MPH headwind...

Get some Brown Dog 1 inch motor mounts. It lifts the front of the engine. I did that and got rid of the t-case drop.

if my girlfriend left. i would probably have more money, then get fat from going out to eat every night, or starve and die from never remembering to make food.
