I went over it with his flap disk a couple days ago, and he went over it again before starting.

I think it was a bit tricky to get the heat up because the welder need a 20A circuit and I didn't have one available, so he had to toe the line on a 15A source.

In any case, the important thing is, the wife can now climb in without giving herself a charlie horse

just got a lead on a Grey Sunrider supertop w/ tinted windows...

I remember someone saying grey tops are getting harder to find?

I prefer black for my jeep, but I'll be picking this up anyway, as it's in better shape than what I've got. If anyone's interested in trading me for a black top in good shape (+tinted windows) let me know!

Anyone have any experience with the Cooper S/Ts? My buddy with the JKU thought he was getting a set of the STTs but the gave him STs instead and I don't know enough about them to comment....

Cheers

Booked her in to the stealership to get the recall done on the e-brake, should have seen the guys face when I told him it was 92 yj. He was like "sorry I thought you said 92" . To which I just laughed. Anyways he told me the recall was only for the e-break pedal assembly, is this true? If it is do you think it will keep my jeep from rolling down hills with the ebrake on when they switch it out?

Let it frustrate the (insert favorite 4 letter word) out of me....

While the trans is out I figured I would replace the leaky rear main seal. Well that turned into another all evening job. Which really has me scratching me head, I could not figure it out but is there anyway to know for sure that the oil pan gasket is properly set around the rear bearing carrier? As much as that dang gasket moves around when trying to get the pan up in place. All the holes were lined up when I got it into position but thinking about it that thin piece of gasket has to go into that grove to seal everything up and where it is located there just seems to be no way to know for sure. Now I am waiting to get the trans back in so I can fire it up and look for leaks...
