No build thread, didn't think anyone would be all that interested in it, lol. With work and travel, time is hard to find lately. I may take a month off and hammer away at it though. Also trying to fit in the budget to go linked and coil over but don't know if I can swing it right now, maybe just the rear.

No problem, people try n make it more difficult than it is. Also it helps to put a 3/4 socket over the cap on the ujoint if ur angle finder won't sit flat.

Picked up a spare cv driveshaft for the rear and also cannibalized an explorer for the flange to fit it. Just gotta get a general consensus of the length of shaft my buddies run and I will get it cut to an average length. Its just to get off the trail, we usually fix ujoints at camp and replace the original drive or axle shafts.

Has anyone replaced the 12 point 13mm bolts on the unit bearing with a 6 point? I need some ease of use and 12 point isn't boosting my confidence.

Don't do it a 6 point with round of the bolt and then youll have a whole new set of problems

I'd say leave em 12 point. You can get a whole lotta torque out of those things and you can get replacements from any heavy truck shop.
They're the same bolts as their ujoint straps take. FEI.

Love it!! I have the same one. Mine was a pain to get on. Real tight fit. What rear did you get? I haven't decided yet.
