Went to Pick & Pull, and picked up a Ford Explorer 8.8 with disc breaks and Limited Slip with 4.10 gears. Then I went and ordered (4) Rancho Rs44044, they will be in on Tuesday. Making room for 35's

That is why a group of us split from the club we were with. I was tired of never going riding as a group and too many times when I went with others and I would be the only one from my club. I will see how this group works out, if not I will be putting Lone Wolf on mine and playing with whoever.

Atlas at F4, light lance engaging.

Going to rent a transmission jack tomorrow and put some plywood under the Jeep to slide it on. Still can't budge the tranny.

I used the welder a bit and my new grinder. I need lots of practice on the welder, but the grinder works fine. I made a mistake by buying the flap wheel at Harbor Freight though. It's already getting worn out.

These people say they will wheel more but so far trail rides with a long water crossing is all I have seen, if we go south we can hit good trails, hills and rocks but so far no one is in to that. Time will tell.

There seems to be something amiss with your trailer as well.

It hasn't been used in months it gets a bit soft.

The jeep is officially sidelined for awhile. I don't have the funds to keep fixing it so I'm saving for awhile to either re do this one or sell it and get something else

No reason to sell when you have another vehicle you can drive for the time being.

I had a friend tell me the same thing several years ago. I had never tore down an engine before. He sad if I tear it down with him he would help me put it back together. When it came time to put it back together he said he didn't know how to it it back together. With the help of a Haynes manual, I put it back together and it ran! The only thing I did wrong was put the distributor 180 degrees out. It would run then cut out had it towed and that is what the shop found!
