i threw it up on some jackstands to see if i could hear anything. the sound i'm hearing is obviously coming from the rear axle. i put my ear up to the diff and i can hear the gears quite loudly, so theres something going on in there, but my wheel on the drivers side is also wobbling so that looks like wheelbearing to me because it wobbles the brake rotor as well as the wheel.

the obnoxious SHHHHHH sound im hearing when i coast is coming from the t case so thats fun and in 4lo its about 100 times as loud.

and to think i was so happy with it

Yet Corvettes got em and my parents park avenue had one. That's the key you give to valet parking guy or in rippers case himself so he doesnt hot rod your car.

im sure there is if the car uses a key with a chip in it. its not so much a power issue as it is me making mistakes, im learning everything by doing, ive never done gears, engine swap, trans work, suspension, anything before so i guess you just learn from mistakes... i had a guy that said he'd help me with anything i got stuck on when i started my swap but he sold me a bunch of hardly running/broken parts and dropped off the face of the earth

I used mine as a pickup yesterday. Hauled car ramps and some other stuff to my girlfriends to change the oil on her car. The damn thing is so low the ramps wouldn't work. Her dad and I had to drive it off the carport pad and onto railroad ties in order to squeeze underneath it. That spurred a drive over bay discussion. So we may be digging out the side of the hill and pouring walls.

I do remember you saying just a few days ago that it's so reliable after your long trip. Haha. Shame it couldn't stay that way.

And Mark it's too bad you're not closer to Tampa, Hardcore could use another YJ.

Speaking of surprises...bearings don't work too well when surrounded by broken retainer pieces.
