My hubs were both unlocked and it was out of 4wd. I have a hard time thinking it's wheel bearings. One because they're new and two because of the dragging feeling that happens with the sound. I've had a ad bearings before and it did t feel like this

Got the trans in two hours later it stalls and wont start back up. Changed cps and cam sensor. Trying the timing on saturday. Got fuel and spark. If anyone wants all the details check out the thread "wont start weird symptoms"

I checked brakes last night and the lugs this morning both are still good. I'm almost 100% sure it's the ring gear.

Get it up on the lift and spin the wheels and track it down. I'd do that before breaking open that diff.

Does anyone know of a 6 lug Dana 60? Jk there's no such thing as too much power, but there is such a thing of having your backlash set at the upper limit. Lesson learned
