Had the front end aligned and the tires balanced.

SOLD - Maybe I can afford this game when I'm old and rich.

Got the new hard top, found some full doors at the same place, installed both, me like. Front and rear pro-comp rock bumpers.

Bought two new high test headlights since my right low beam "went out".

Pulled it apart in 30 degrees with high winds, hooked up the new light, and found out I've got a short!

My YJ tried to kill me today. I was just cruising down the road and went to stop for a red light and the brake pedal went straight to the floor! I had no trouble stopping up to that intersection and of course, it failed just as I was following an enormous tilt-and-load truck. I was lucky enough to be able to steer around the back of the truck and up and over a snowbank into a gas station before coming to a stop. Scary! Turns out, the brake line to the left front wheel had cracked just where it turns from the framerail into the wheelwell.

I nursed it along using the foot brake to stop and got to Walmart where I bought a set of Vice-Grips and pinched off the cracked line and drove it to the closest Jeep dealer where I left it in disgust. Just this morning I repaired a broken door handle latch and this is what I get for my trouble! It's been like this since I bought the thing... I fix something and within 24 hours, something else lets go.

As I waited for my wife to pick me up, I was eyeing up the leftover '05 TJ's on the dealer's lot... very tempting.

Stupid YJ!

sanded, primered, and painted my new full steel doors off of an old cj, they were spray painted urban camo and had a ton of imperfections, im rhino lining the interior side and new panels should be in the mail soon, i added new handles and rubber seals. here is todays pics, minus clear coat, they turned out like black mirrors, awesome.

Installed my much needed MORE bombproof motor mounts, and also put on a new power steering pump pulley.

New motor mounts is like driving a new jeep! More response, gets the power to the ground better than my broken stock mounts ever did.
