I managed to break my torque arm stud in attempt to find my ghost vibration. Yes thats what Im calling it now because it went away again last night and so far, today. I replaced it with some threaded rod, nuts and washers and reused the old bushings.

Guy at work picked up spare axle shafts and a skid plate for me for $50. Itll be nice to around with full spare shafts. Wasnt going to because a new passenger one is like $400+ new

I helped my friend do his tie rod ends on his xj. Wasnt too hard, just a little confusing since he has half stock steering and half the steering from a v8 zj

Awaiting my paycheck to clear still so I can buy a new rim and mount my new M/Ts!

More stuff

Yesterday put on new rear brakes, added 6" fender flairs and took the old girl out for a spin. Was more fun than trippen baby ducks with the top off

We should meet up and go mudding, too (I won't be going for another month myself), the San Angelonians are coming out of the woodwork now it seems .

Ordered a set of M.O.R.E. rear shock extensions and am in the process of molding my DS floorpan into the tub instead of having it bolted on.
I have been there. In fact, they just installed a rear seat latch this morning. Now my kid won't rag doll out the back.

Does anyone know if their passenger axle shaft has a needle bearing cage at the CAD end? Mine does and I just bought some D30 shafts for spares and the spare one doesnt have it nor does it look like it would have

Over the long weekend I started cleaning, sand blasting, preping and painting the new heart of my YJ. Its not all finished yet (the painting) as I ran out of paint Labor day (go figure). The bulk of it is finished though. Just waiting for a a few more parts to show up.

Replaced the battery cables, with marine terminals, and included several additional ground wires (frame, alternator, and fender). I've been having electrical issues since I got the Jeep last year and thought this would help (couldn't hurt right). Now the Jeep runs great, better than it ever has, until it just randomly shuts off and I loose all electrical power. It died on the way to work, and with the key on, I could watch the electrical system come on and go off multiple times. She didn't leave me stranded but something is definitely shorting out somewhere.
