Definitely going to be adding some of these to my YJ when I can afford it:

The ATV got the first pair, it needed light a lot more than my Jeep does.

very nice, I'll be getting a set soon, soon...my...precious!

My order of rear U-bolts and front shocks came in, also cutting (yes I said CUTTING) out the sway bar, that bastard is so rusted in, ain't no savin it lmao. Been test driving without the links hooked up (one broke and one was sledged off with a BFH), and it is so much better, so yeah, first the trackbars, now the swaybar, GONE! No more binding upon flex

Quadratec. Had to call them to get the heavy duty ones(which were only a few bucks more). Makes my old booms look like thin cardboard lol

I think Im going to wait to install them til I get all new u bolts so I could swap my springs front to rear. The fronts have settled quicker with all the weight up there so it has a little bit of a rake. Plus the fronts seem to flex better than the rear being that theyre worn in

I found out that the shackle bolts should be only torqued to 20lbs. As soon as I cleaned, lubricated and adjusted the bolts to 20lbs, it was like night and day. The yj is riding so much smoother now and not as stiff. So, check your shackles and make sure they're not over tightened! That's what I did to the yj today!
Hope you're using lock nuts! Lol.

Yesterday I screwed with the distributor for 2.5 hours. At some point today, I will probably do it again.

Picked the jeep up from the garage, emptied my pockets again. They finished the clutch job that I started, and welded me some new skid mounts.

those threads were pressed so tight for who knows how long, now that they have been loosened, I'd question the integrity of the bolts. Not trying to tell you what to do, but I would ere on the side of caution and just get a new set of bolts, while you're at it, new shackles lmao.

Picked up alternator from Autozone; installed new alternator; tested new alternator as the battery did seem to be charging; bad regulator; repeat process!
