I've had to re weld all my body mounts as well. Going down dirt roads at 50+ miles an hour with a body lift really stresses the mounts. I'd like to cut some square tube and give the body more strength and a larger area so it won't happen again.

Painted my center caps. 3 of my Chrome caps got thrown away

Fortunately I have 3 silver center caps, so I just painted them all gloss black. Going to need to get some good quality paint tomorrow or something to get a good and shiny coat. Currently drying in the house over night..

Very eventful day here:
  • got a new driver side motor mount put in
  • changed power steering lines
  • had a nipple break on the power steering fluid reservoir
  • spent a bunch of time scouring the internet for a replacement reservoir
  • appreciated support from the jeeper community
  • sprayed my engine with simple green & hosed it down
  • discovered that my engine had a serial # sticker hiding beneath the grease all this time! (not looking too bad for 225k)
