I didn't do anything to mine although my clutch disc came in today. I don't know why no parts stores in the high desert didn't have a disc or pilot bearing in stock.

I did however see my boss snap the front pinion shaft in her '08 2500 while pulling a trailer through the field next to my house. We un did the trailer and she still couldn't get out. The truck just sank down. Her son came in his little 4x4 150 and pulled her out and then got the trailer out real quick. Makes me want a truck even more. Ha

I've also got a noise at highway speeds when I let off the throttle or give it partial throttle that sounds like grinding. I thought it was tranny related before, but that has been replaced and the noise is still there, only louder now. I am guessing this is due to my transmission being quiet and not sounding like it was going to blow up like the last one. Other than all that, I put my daily 100 miles on her.
U joint ?

It's convenient to have that E-12 socket since it's also the same one you need on the top two bolts of an XJ transmission bell housing. Well convenient if you have multiple Jeeps.

The replacement motor for my fan came in Mon, an last night I was finally able to get the old motor off, which ended up taking me breaking the fan blade apart so the motor an remaining parts could fit thru the body. So tonight I will be installing the new fan motor an blades in preparation for putting the cooling system back together this weekend.

I bought a set of E-torx sockets not knowing if I'd ever need them but hoping that if I did, I'd already have them. I needed them for the YJ starter last year and then again I needed an E-8 for the lift supports on the ZJ rear hatch.
