So you added some sort of physics defying device that allowed your Jeep to crawl the wall sideways?????
It's a YJ!..
94 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 with AX-15 Trans.
4" Procomp Lift, 3" body lift, 35" BFG Tires, Ford 9" Rearend with NASCAR Detroit Locker, Super 30 Front with ARB, Onboard Air, Dual Optima Batteries,Warn M8274 Winch, and Bushwacker Fender Flares.
There is about 6" of clearance between my head and the speaker, no chance of hitting it unless somehow I go into negative gravity, even taking a bump too quick.
It wasn't that difficult, just takes some patience, a few drill bits, and a helicoil kit with matching bolts (to bolt the pods in place. Don't forget a sharp razor blade if you have rollbar padding, because you will need ot make some small cuts to let the bolts pass through.
Bent my hydro assist ram and a heim on the tie rod while out wheeling this weekend. That's all fixed now but I think I bent the passenger side inner C. I totally should have gussetted it. 35's on beadlocks is a ton of weight to put on a 30.
'88 YJ with SOA and SYE and a bunch of custom crap from BWF in Chesapeake.
'97 XJ on 8" lift, double triangulated rear, long arm 3 link front, Eaton/60 with 5.14 gears.
What did I do today...nothing. It was only about 115 in the garage.
I just have to get the rear springs off so I can finish my lift, unfortunately every bolt is rusted hardcore and the sleeves are rusted to the bolts. I am probably going to have to drop the gas tank to get to everything.
I did buy some more sawzall blades and cutoff wheels so the day wasn't a total waste.
The recent rains we've had here in central TX killed my stereo so I put my old one in after work. I also pulled off the hardtop and decided I want to trade it for a soft top, as I have nowhere but my driveway to store it right now. I've also got a noise at highway speeds when I let off the throttle or give it partial throttle that sounds like grinding. I thought it was tranny related before, but that has been replaced and the noise is still there, only louder now. I am guessing this is due to my transmission being quiet and not sounding like it was going to blow up like the last one. Other than all that, I put my daily 100 miles on her.
