What did you do to your YJ today? - Page 17

Changed my oil, now using WalMart SuperTech ST16 filter and 10W-30 oil, complete swap is less than $10 so Ill now be doing it every 2 months for cheap insurance!

The Fram I had before was PH16, so the SuperTech is ST16. Hence if you use a PH52, you want an ST52. Ive read good on the oil and very good about the filters, so Ill give it a try. If you change every 3K or less, then your changing before the oil has a chance to brake down.

And speaking of mounts, I changed my r/h motor mount this afternoon. Just 45 minutes from set-up to clean-up! Life is good with air tools at home.

replaced fan clutch and radiator after the fan tore apart the radiator. Then later found out I need to replace the water pump. Then mounted the High Lift to the back roll bar.

I hacked on my fender flares for awhile, then took pics with my new camera.

I had the flares that came all the way back down the side with the step built in. I hacked all that mess off, but left the step.

I know it's not that purrty, but if it was I probably wouldn't drive it.

Plus I'm going tube fenders soon.

Sorry dog, I know that since you drive a tj, your need for duct tape is low, so thanks for hooking a brother up.

Now I'm sure that in about 10 or so years, you may have the need for duct tape, so I will buy you a roll when your need is great. SWIVEL DIRTAY NINJAH!

I busted the exhaust loose from the cat converter, oops.

You can get a lot better traction with that thing if you flip the tires around, and put some BB's in them. I did it to mine and it crawls a LOT better now than it did. I even cut some of the tread on the tires too.

Oh yeah, those things are fun.

Replaced both of the headlights. Took a rock on the freeway a couple weeks ago and it left a small hole in the lens, filled with water, got real dim, and finally died.

Thinking about getting some of those mesh guards if I ever install some high quality lights.

Hopefully, I'll get my new bikini safari top and entry guards tommorrow .
