Check the difference between a 4.10 pinion (right) and 5.89 (left)

Going to pick up a "new to me" 4.2 on Saturday. Has about half the mileage on it that mine has...only 90k. Also looking at a '92 AX-15 with the 231 tc still attached. The guy only wants $200 for that and then I found that if I want to stick with my 3.55 gears (which I am happy with rolling on 31s) that I can get an 8.8 for $27 from a JY less than an hour from me.

1997 TJ, 5" IRO front with 4.5" HD IRO WJ rear, 35x12.5x15 Mickey Thompson MTZ, JKS disconnects

Pulled the exhaust manifold, and found that the wires going to the o2 sensor were tore out from the axle... Any pointers on removing this thing?! Almost herniated myself making an attempt...

They make a socket that fits o2 sensors. However, with the wires already ruined, I'd just use a deep well. Spray it down with some penetrant if its rusted on.

Are they expensive? Running on a limited budget.

They're like $4. I picked one up when I did mine. Totally worth the pocket change.

Since the crappy old spring loaded LP mount got deleted on my Jeep... I had to make a new one...

Have a light on it's way in through the mail, just gotta do a little cutting of another fencing T mount and bolt it in place. Might have to re-drill the holes so I can get a wrench up inside to remove the lugs easily. And of course grind and wire wheel down all of the bolts since I had to cut each one of them.. Then paint it. But at least I can drive it again, during the day for now.

All about that unibody life.
