Last night we pulled the rear drive shaft, and beat the crap out of the old U-joints to get them out. Buddy held the ballpeen peen side down and me smacking it with a 4 pound sledge (a lot). They just laughed at the C-clamp and vise method. Slapped'em all together and the nasty vibration is gone. I hope to throw the new soft top on today.

Took the plunge. Ordered up a 4' suspension lift, 3/8" grease boom shackles, 1" body lift and an Aussie locker for the front axle.

She won't be stock much longer!!

Light bar/canoe rack installed! I also fixed yet another noise by actually attaching the exhaust pipe to the manifold! Amazing how much quieter it is now.

Oh, and I fixed my fuel gauge. Now I actually know how much gas i've got!

Installed new (to me, it belonged to a fine fellow named Craig, got it from his list) CB. Straightened steering wheel (again): pulled the steering wheel to kinda center the horn button and then pipe-wrenched the drag link. Was about to take it for a test drive and I noticed the pleasant smell of gas. Second fuel leak since I replaced my fuel filter (third in about a week since the output hose started to leak). All new clamps now, no more leaks. Test drive to buy dog treats and a mother's day card in a few minutes, hopefully.

I think that's 50 posts for me now. I can start posting pics of my rusty pile!

It's because you didn't put a space between your links.

New shoes look good, as does the rest of the Jeep.
