I come to seek the wisdom of the older members; what's the better motor the 4.2l or the 4.0?

4.0 hands down, better mileage, more horsepower, more torque, fuel injected

the 4.2 has slightly better low low rpm torque but thats it

Fired the beast up and realized I really want a new motor. Man I want to feel the fresh rumble of new power. No 4.3l swap as most shops don't know how to do the computer for the CPI. So new 4.2 and new tranny yay Bob. Gotta love tax time!!! Yj revitalized

Instead of wheeling with zte87 the plan was to install my sub, extend my bumpstops, and start on rocker guards.
Ended up having to modify the box and do homework which both sucked. I feel un-accomplished lol
