Your 3 inch body lift has the ability to throw your CoG way out of wack. And you can do an OME lift for roughly the same price or just slightly more than what you paid for your RC lift. I know that for a fact because I did it this summer. Antican was not trying to slight you...he was pointing out a well known fact. More than 75% of the people that use this forum and have had RC lifts have had problems with them sagging in a relatively short time period (this is not an exact percentage but a rough estimate of what I have read in the almost two years that I have been on the forum). Yes, I consider a year or so a short time period.
It's one thing to be doing something on the cheap because of being young and starting out and knowing that you're doing that. We've all been there at some point. It's another to get bent out of shape because somebody points out that an inferior product was used instead explaining the intent to work up to a certain level. We're all proud of our Jeeps and what we have done to them, just understand that some people will point out flaws and that it is not always a personal attack on you. Pretty much everybody is here to help. If you have problems understanding that then I would suggest that maybe you try out Pirate4x4.

Cheers all!

Beats me. I was just alluding to the problems that RC has with their lifts. Also in the other sticky with xx lift and xx tires, every other lift seems to be RC 4". I didn't call any names I was just pointing something out. Someone just has a short fuse.

And thanks for the Stripes reference up there. Haha!

While I'm here, what I did to my yj today. Hmm... I sat and looked at her through the window and imagined the set of q78 TSL's I ordered yesterday on her.

I had a broken vacuum line going to the front axle.

So I moved the fork manually, clipped it in and guess what... NO vibes at 60 mph woot, don't need a driveshaft balance!

I neatened up some wires running to the power inverter, saw that my tail lights are looking a little foggy. I'll probably pull 'em off and clean them up later on. Durango box should be here by Wednesday and I'll throw that on

Linex is a bedliner. Yes, there are several Jeeps on the forum who have exteriors bedlined. Off the top of my head; I know TheNewbie's (U-pol Raptor) and mikebreaker5's (milt. drab colored monsta). It's nothing new nor is it ground breaking.

Side note: An attitude like that will NOT get you very far on this forum or on any other.

That may be true (even though he was just busting your chops...), but no one is telling you to get a top of the line lift. Merely pointing out your choice of lift kits leaves much to be desired. And before you start whining about "oh I'm just a HS kid who can't afford that" stop for a second and look around. You're not the only one on the forum at the HS/College age group. I almost went with an RC lift, but after reading about it on the forum I decided not to. I'm willing to wait a while longer to get a quality lift.

Switched out the latch (handle) for the rear window of my hard top. I went to home depot and bought the handle for the garage door, all I had to do was cut down the shaft to match the original and it was a perfect fit.

No one is whining about anything. I'm simply stating that I can't afford it. You guys talk as if you could buy a RC lift at the dollar store.

And thank you for the obvious reply of "linex is a bed liner" if you put bed liner on the exterior of your vehicle wouldn't you then refer to it as a linex paint job? I don't have a short fuse.

My family has run rc for years and never had sagging springs.
