finally finished mounting and wiring my light bar ... rocker panels are next...

i tried to flat fender it yesterday, but as it turns out the cheeks on the fenders are tacked on... bummer. i dont wanna cut her up.

Not really today, but within the last week my son and I...

1. Picked up rolling tub at the body shop.
2. Mounted hood
3. Installed new flares
4. Installed all lights/ lenses (after polishing)
5. Painted steel dash with Deltron
6. Dyed/ painted dashpad and trim
7. Installed all gauges (after cleaning, polishing lenses, etc)
8. Installed new windshield in frame, mounted frame
9 Installed misc body pieces - washer nozzles, cowl grill, hood latches, etc.
10. Installed ACC vinyl floor mat (fits great!)
11. Painted lower sections of roll bar to match interior, reinstalled bar

Hopefully today we'll get the new seats installed. If the damn wind will quit blowing, I'll be painting the hard top.

I am ready to go back to work!

installed a Flowmaster 50 series in my dad's TJ........becasue mine is wating fior the DS still........

i know it is not a YJ upgrade, but he is leeting me drive his til mine is done.....

Got some new used springs out of trade and gained a inch of my height back from sagged springs.

Pulled the tranny and case out.... Replaced a broken off tran skid plate bolt... ( Man that sure sucked ).... Installed a Tri-County Ineria Ring... Started the installed of a Tera-Lo 4:1 and 2Lo .... Rotated the front spring plates for a new kinda fabed shock lower shock mount....

Was a GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDD Day .................

vacuumed the interior after installing a new passenger seat to match my drivers seat
installed the delta tech xenon headlight conversion kit- so much better than stock, i love them.

rocker panels are done ... next is rear diff gasket needs to be replaced...

I patted my YJ wishing it a hapy new year, joined this board to gain knowledge, promised to take good care of the "old girl", and took her for a ride. It is my first jeep having purchased it during the summer with deferred maintenance around $3,000. All deferred maintenance has been taken care of. She enjoys our coffee runs and the runs through the national forest.

Started reading the threads and having a ball.

how much does that run?

I completed all the repairs to my full doors, now the both open, close, lock, look nice, no longer squeek & rattle.

Also used seafoam in the throttle body. seams to run a little better, but makes a klacking noise i never heard before.

Finished installing my X-mas present in the YJ version of course.

And wouldn't you know it, we get rain tonight, in the middle of winter, in the lake effect snow belt?!?! I was excited to see that my cab stayed dry, unlike before when I was using just the bikini/tonn/jammer combo. No more water collecting on top!
