Took off the inside passenger door panel and re-attachhed the inside door latch rod, It was nice going around and opening the door for my wife,,but my son hated it when he was the passenger, hes 12
Took off the side tube steps , figure I will sell them before I destroy them on the rocks this spring
Cut off the front bumper extensions, they were rotting away GO SAWZALL!!!
This week. Lowered the body lift from 3" to 1.5". Started changing rear axle seals until I found that the set screw holding the pin between the axles was broken off. Still tryingto get that out. Expect the unexpected.
I finally had a chance to mount the carb I rebuilt, and added a manual choke.
I had to stick with the carter for now, but once $$$ will allow I will probably be swapping it for a Weber...
With the fresh rebuild its running great. No more stalling at stop signs, lights, etc...I just have some final adjustments to do in the next few days, but its finally drivable.
Well, over the last few weeks, I have done a small amount of work to my rig. Started by pulling the axles and the Tcase. then pulled the rear leafes, and swapped in new front leafes. Added a full width D44 front and Currie shackles.
This weekend, I will be making beadlocks, painting said beadlocks and cutting off the rear portion of the frame and the crossmember.
Soon, I will stuff that D44 with 4340 shafts, superjoints, spool, Rockstomper ram assist and new linkage.
