I installed all new shocks today, first time ever working on a Jeep or doing something that big.

It was PITA because I had to use 2 open end wrenches! I broke my rachet using it as a hammer lol....took me to long I think....4.5-5 hours

Updated the Roll bar

BEFORE I STARTED BUILDING THE JEEP:

I finally got the old roll bar out and the new 92+ roll bar in. I picked it up at a salvage yard for $40 and paid $40 to have it painted black (it was white). I love the way it looks and the kids will be much safer with shoulder harnesses and lap belts, rather than lap belts alone. Now I'm trying to decide if I want roll bar padding. . .

Still lots to do. . .(TJ flares, body lift, still haven't put on the rear 5/8" Boomerang Shackles)

Fixed the fuel leak. The rubber line going into the fuel filter was cracked and leaking. Of couse when I went to the parts store, they told me it was a high pressure line and it was a dealer only part Called up Barton Jeep, and sure enough it was a special part that can handle 120 PSI! I have no idea what that kind of pressure is doing right before the fuel filter, but it costs $26. So I got that and a new fuel filter, took about 20 minutes to scrape away the crud and install the new one.
