Installed my transfer case drop, despite me reservations about it. It gets the job done. Had a little trouble with the shifter, so i took the boot apart expecting to cut some of the metal from the tub like the instructions said, but ended up just cutting some of the lower boot which was the only thing getting in the way.
Well its vibrating because I wasnt comfortable installing the transfer case drop kit, I'd rather do an SYE and driveline or something. I'm going with Cooper Discoverer 32X11.50 r 15 Mud terrains on black cragar soft 8's
i have a t case drop kit for sale 20 plus shipping.. it could get you by till you can fork the cash for sye and a drive shaft..
Killed it. Sort of. It's only mostly dead. Not all dead. Actually I just killed the starter....
How the hell do you guys who go mudding in deep water keep from toasting your starters? I submerged the jeep pretty good last week and the starter finally died today. Took it in to my buddy's shop and cracked it open. All rusty and gnarly inside... Any way to stop this from happening again when next I go wheeling??
I guess the main problem is my jeep doesn't have access to the Internet and therefore doesn't know it's supposed to flip upside down and burst into flames the moment one of my locked rear tires touch asphalt.
