What 2.5-3 " suspention lift give best road manners for my '92 YJ?
thanks from a new Jeep guy
'92 YJ, 4.0L, 5 spd, OX Locked front, 4:10 gears, BDS 3.5" lift, reverse shackles, Ford 8.8 Limited-slip rear, York OBA, JB Conversions SYE Kit, CV driveshft, Centerforce II clutch, Big Daddy Step Rock Rails, Skid Row Top Prop, Big Daddy OffRoad Front Bumper, Yokahoma Geolander 32's, Rokmen Riddler differential cover
I have the RoughCountry 3 inch lift and it handles pretty good on the road, kinda bouncy, but not at all bad. It was fairly inexpensive also, I paid $389 for everything. You might want to let this string go for a while and see what others have to say, This is my first Jeep, so I'm not sure how its supposed to handle.
04' Dodge Ram
"Jeep mechanic wanted: must be able to put square peg in round hole"
I also installed the RC 3" lift. I love it, it really make my jeep standout!! The kit come complete w/ shocks, the only things you might need is some new bolts for the leafs. When installing lift be prepare to use a torch, some of my spring bolts were stuck in the metal sleeves. It is a very simple kit to install. If you have a torch and want to replace all spring bolts I'd just torch them to save headaches! Mine is also kinda bouncy but for the money I can't complain.
94 YJ 4.0 HO 3sp Auto, 3" RC Lift, 1" Shackles, 3" BL, 31x10.50, Pacesetter Armor-Coated Header, Homemade Air Intake w/ K&N
