Well i just rolled...

Well last night I hit a bump and fishtailed, caught the median and rolled 3-4 times off a 20+ ft incline. I haven't seen my jeep yet in the daylight, don't know what kind of damage has happened but I want to be able to fix it if it's mainly cosmetics and a small bit of mechanical, but what I'm getting at is if there's anybody on here who can help me out by giving me tips on jaw to do some body work that would be really appreciated

If this is the case i can tell you without seeing it that it will be cheaper to buy a new YJ and transfer any surviving parts / modifications off the wrecked jeep.

Sorry to hear about you jeep. Hopefully it will be repairable. I would wait to see how bad it is before you get set on repairing it.

If you weren't hospitalized its a damned miracle!!

I would hazard to guess the Jeep will be a total loss. As previously stated; grab whatever parts you can and start fresh

91 YJ, 350/700R4/231, 8.8/HPD30 with 3.73s, 6" SOA with 38" TSLs. If I ever see the previous owner again, I am going to curb stomp that meth-head brain dead crackpot.

The jeep be damned, I'm just glad you weren't killed. I also hope that the pictures don't show up in a "Jeeps aren't safe" campaign.

Mostly that you're safe though.

Glad you walked away. Post a pic of the jeep because I'm curious what it looks like after that many rolls down an incline.

Yea I will, might be a day or two, not to sure I want to go see it yet, kinda want to let things calm down a bit. But in the moonlight it didn't look too bad looked more like I rear ended someone and some wind messed up the soft top

First I want to say I am very glad you are OK. Jeeps can be fixed, lives can't. I do however have a question about the details of what caused your wreck. You say you hit a bump and then started fish tailing. Did you experience bumpsteer or "death wobble" after hitting the bump?

My Jeep build. :)
