Weber is on my 88 YJ

It felt good to say goodbye to the stock 2bbl...the weber needed some adjusting but after checking for any vacumm leaks with propane tool i have i drove it and WOW what a differenceMuch more power.Only thing i found out that this carb (used off ebay ) does not have the clips or whatever holds the top of air cleaner lid to bottom.Im wondering what i can make something out of to fix this, any ideas welcome please. Also the linkage that came with carb was not long enough so i dug around and found a threaded piece off old ford truck with the right size ball socket things on it.
