Weber install!!

So far just one question. What do I do with the "heated air tube"?? It's a metal tube that went from the headers to the old intake right before the air cleaner. I don't want to leave the a big hole in the side of the headers!

It's not integrated into the headers, otherwise you would feel a tremendous amount of exhaust blowing from it when you cranked up. Just disconnect it at the exhaust manifold and forget about it. It takes heat from a flange mounted on the manifold, not the actual exhaust gas.

thanx johny1i. I have one more question now that I took it for a test drive. It idles fine, it starts fine, and it accelerates fine if you don't really try to floor it. No matter what speed or RPM's I'm at; if I put my foot into it, it hesitates and sometimes backfires. Is this caused by the air/fuel mixture??

How does the spray from the accelerator pump look? Possibly too much or too little? Too soon or too late?

Hey jeepinsc87. Where you live in SC? I'm in Simpsonville. ( And for all the forum members snickering to themselves: no, the simpsons don't live here. )
