Weber carb help!!

i have a 4.2 engine with a weber carb, i need to buy a rebuild kit for it, but how do i find out what weber carb i have? the numbers on it dont match anything..

If it is really a Weber carb the Series (model) identification will be stamped into the base of the body at the mounting flange on the end that is opposite the choke assembly.

If it looks somewhat similar to a Weber but there is no stamping located there, it is a Solex being marketed as either the 'weber' DGEC 34/34 or possibly the DGEC 36/36.

If it is a Carter/Weber and you find the name cast into the body at choke side of the carb and you find that it has a "stepper motor" attached at the rear of the carb it is the Carter BBD w/stepper.
