The Before....

Previous owner has put over 3/8 inch thick bondo down the whole side!!....I ground it all off and realized it didnt even need it.....I used LESS then a golf ball size amount to repair the small dent that was needed.....

Used Raptor system. Uses a special gun....VERY pleased with the results. Took the Jeep into the woods and surface didnt even get a mark. Holds up excellent.

That certainly looks very nice. Likely spent a week of prep or more then about an hour putting it on........I'm willing to bet you had a difficult time coming up with white and gray liner. Well, maybe not--you live in Atlanta (center of the universe) Was it Herculiner or another product?

Good job.

Its UPOL Raptor Liner.....

As far as prep, i removed anything removable....then ground body to bare metal with 80 grit roloc discs. Then I primed entire veh with non sanding epoxy primer...several coats.

Then Tinted the liner the color I wanted....In this case black for the inside as well as the bumpers and A sand/kakhi for the ouside....has a light tan color. Does look more white in the above pics, but in person it is very yellow/sand/tan....kinda like a pair of kakhi pants or manilla folder.

Has a perfect texture. If i ever get rid of this jeep and get another jeep this will be the first thing i do to it.

now on to the lockers, tires, metal flares and winches......

That looks REALLY good. I also might do that instead of paint. How much are the Raptor kits? Did you get it at Pep Boys or somewhere like that?

I Manage a dealership and our body shop ordered the kits from our paint supplier. they make two different kinds. one black, and one tintable. they are about 125.00 each. to do inside and out you will need approx 1 and half kits...

the kits have 4 bottles each. like i said you will need 6 bottles. If just doing the outside...1 kit is enough. It mixes and sprays very easily and is able to be recoated later if needed. If you order it, use the tintablekits and you can mix in any color base you would like

materials list:

3 quarts of epoxy primer and hardner if you like....

1 kit for outside

half quart of base color of your choice...per kit

another kit for inside and you will have 2 bottles left over for later if you needed

each it comes with a reuseable gun.

We spray these kits in back of pickups all the time as bedliner and have no issues. its VERY though stuff and works great.

looks good.
One thing I would like to know, from your pictures (besides the close-up) we cant even tell that it is lined - good! In person, how close do you actually need to be to tell there is a definate texture.

Also, when you get it dirty, I wouldn't mind some more pictures of that, and an opinion how hard it was to clean.

Depending on how light hits it or what angle you view it ide say you can tell 6-8 feet away pretty easily.

ive had it in mud already....rinse off and use bristle brush to scrub any needed spot and it comes right off...material has a slight sheen to it.
