They look pretty awesome, but I'll stick to my set up in the front. I was thinking about a set for the rears but I got my smitties instead.

What are you running up front..

If I did the warriors, I would cut the front edge of the factory fender and extend the warrior tube into the grill area to give the whole tube fender look..

why would you buy those flares then alter them to "look" like tube fenders.

why dont you just take that money and buy tube fenders?

I wouldn't run the fronts, but the rears would be OK.

Terrible idea. Strengthening a flare that is attached to your factory "weak" sheet metal effectively doubles the width of your fenders...I for one have never been on the trail and thought; "you know what I need? My sheet metal fenders to be 4" wider"

These are one of my most hated products. At least plastic flares give. These are the worst of both worlds.

im just trying to throw out some other options. i would hate you have you buy them and then not like them.

when i made mine i bought the tube and had a local fab shop bend it for me. i spent $30 on the bends.
all in all i have less than $100 in mine(no flare) and i also re-used my inner fender.

heres my build thread
http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f12/d...nders-1165950/

or there is sniperfab. its a DIY type tube fender and has an option for a flare. a 3" is an additional $135 on top of the $187. that right there is about the price of the warrior front flares and i think youll be a lot happier.

or jeeptubes.com or blue torch fab. theres a couple companies out there that have DIY type fenders

Nice job on yours, I remember reading that thread earlier... I have looked at the DIY kits... But like you said, almost the cost of the warriors once done...

As much as I don't want them, in NH I need the flares, or I'll be pulled over all the time.... Realistically 6" flares but gonna try 4.5 flares....

If I buy them and they look cheesy, I'll return them...

Id really like the Gen 3 4.5 tube fender flares...Alot of $$$ though...
