vibes at 25-35 mph

im getting vibration when accelerating mostly, i know its not alignment or tires needing to be balanced because it stops if i shift to neutral. Im thinking maybe U joints? i took a look at them and they dont seem to have any wear & tear

any ideas?

It depends on if the tires, or one tire might be damaged, or, out of roundness so to speak. You could balance a tire all day long but if it has damage somehow. It will still wobble. Sometimes tires have uneven wear, truckers shave tires on a machine to even that out. Though, not sure in your case of what your dealing with because you say it is mostly on acceleration. I knew someone one time who was going nuts trying to figure out a wobble, changing tires out, u-joints, etc. Turns out it was an axle shaft that was not straight, it had a bend in it that was causing vibration wobble, so to speak. It may just be a u-joint, as you say it is more noticeable on acceleration.

Trans mount and or u joints. drop the driveshaft and check the joints. You may have a dry cap or 2. You won't feel the play when the shaft is installed.
