So my wife pulls up in my 89 YJ (2.5L) and it looks as though she is dragging something on the ground under the engine compartment. Upon closer inspection it appears to be some type of vacuum tube that is thick (around 1/2"). It is coming from a small canister that protrudes from the top of the valve cover, and is now dragging on the ground below the front axle. I tried looking at Vacuum diagrams, but they are very rudimentary and make the assumption that you know what you are looking at in the first place!
nah, this comes from the rear of the valve cover, goes into a rigid line, and then back to a flexible one. from there it runs down the drivers side of the engine and onto the ground
It might, but Im not sure where....trying to post pics... Definately isnt a vacuum line - Im not sure what I was thinking with that....if it comes off of the valve cover it must be a vent of some sort
