vaccum actuator swap

hello everyone.

I am putting in a 4.10 geared dana 30 to match the gearing in my recently installed 8.8 and it seems the vacuum actuators are different. my jeep is a 94 and the dana 30 i'm installing is an 89.

My question is, can i simply take off the vacuum actuator from the axle i'm removing and install it onto the axle i'll be putting in so that all the connections stay the same? i've already removed the actuators from both axles and all the internal dimensions look the same.

thanks in advance for any feedback!

Matt

Pretty much yes... The difference really is the electrical connection for the 4wd indicator is on the axle on newer jeeps. On older ones its on the firewall.
