upgraded axle shafts - what year/month? 1995?

I understand that Jeep upgraded the front axle shafts sometime in 1995. Is there any tell-tale signs to look for? I am trying to find a front diff from a 1995 4 cylinder Jeep ... 4.10 gears and the upgraded axles shafts.

Thanks
Mark.
PS. All 4 cylinders came with 4.10's right?

It's my understanding that '94's with ABS also had the upgraded shafts. The '94 ABS shafts I stuffed in my '91 had ujoints that were larger than my stock '91 ujoints.

Yes, easy, the diameter of the cup on the bigger u-joint is about 1-1/8" in diameter. On the older shafts, the cup is about 1" only. The outside of the cup is easy to see on any parked jeep.
