Under Driver Seat - what is it?

It's only bolted to the bracket, not connected to anything else under seat. The wiring disappears into large harness coming through firewall under dash.

It's the tilt switch...lets you know when you flip over.

Does it turn a light on the dash letting me know I'm upside down? So I can disconnect it and rely on those around me to let me know if I'm rubber side down? Mounting new seats, want to use OE flip-mount but this bracket/switch is in the way.

No worries!
However, don't think it's seatbelt related - I have another two prong connector that would goes to the seat belt. This has no electronic connections other then what goes to the harness. It's been rinolined so maybe there are outputs I can't see.

Straight to a large harness directly under the center of the dash. The harness has wires going through the firewall, also into a large connetor and reduces to a smaller harness that continues to the passenger side of the dash.

I thought it was seatbelt related too but checked mine and it doesn't look like that. I also have a weird thing I found when removing my carpet.

That is a DEI proximity sensor add-on for their alarm systems. Could be a Clifford, Viper, or Python alarm, but that sensor works with all of them.

It is a 508D Here is the manual

That's a good idea. I want an alarm that goes off in a couple seconds if someone is sitting in the drivers seat. That'll stop the screw driver method thieves from going for an offroad joyride adventure.

Of course, you can never stop the professional thieves that just tow your car away no matter what alarm or kill switch you have...

I used to have the security system where the car wouldn't shift into gear.
