THE ULTIMATE JEEP? ? ?? ?? ?

Ok here it goes, i have the plans for what i would like to believe is a perfect jeep.

Ford 8.8 axles with the help of M.O.R.E>

Lockers

Gears

Atlas 2 Transfer Case

Spring Over + 2.5" springs

2" Body Lift (for air tanks)

Thats like 9.5" lift with stock shackles

M.O.R.E. SOA correction kit (steering Geometry)

SYE

Big Tires (35,36,maybe 38)

Engine work (4.0l head conversion) Carb or whatever you need to do

Rear Bumper with tire carrier

front bumper with winch

off road lights

Full Roll Cage

AND ANY OTHER COSMETICS

LET ME KNOW

I WANT TO DO SOMETHING BIGGG

looks like a good start to me. plan on doing this from the ground up, or modifying existing? why if its the "perfect" jeep are you only going with 8.8s? i would go bigger, especially if you are thinking 38's. what about the engine and trans? do you want to put this in a cj, yj, tj, etc? just thinking out loud. i like the ideas though.

Yah i might go D60 but most likely D44, and i would be willing to part the 33s.

I like any ideas i might go with a small block, and like the nv4500 tranny that has the atlas 2 connected to it

But yah it should be awsoem

Your choice of engine, NV4500, Atlas II, 35 spline full-floater D60's, is a virtually bullet proof drive train. If you have the $$$ and only want to do it once, that's the ticket. Gonna take some lift and probably a Sawzall to get 38"s on it though.

wait ultimate jeep ?
haha

unimog portal axles

cummins 5.9 turbo diesel

ford 6 speed tranny out of f-350

atlas 2

i would say tera low but with the geared hubs
it would be more useful to add another overdrive

and a kustom coil-over suspention designed by me and my NC-STATE MECHANICAL ENIGINEERING skills

custom flat fenders on a yj

and slightly lengthend chassis ( half way between scrabler and yj only with out the rear overhang)

warn lights all around

whatcha think
i'm a hell of a dreamer
