its the accuator or thats what they call it in the haynes manual. its the piece that screws onto the turn signal switch and is connected to the turn signal lever. someone has welded it pryor to me owning the jeep and they did a "great" job if i may add. im gonna go get one off of a chevy tomorrow and see what i get i may even grab a few others like ford and dodge to see what will work.

Older gm should work. Ours are the over run stock units.

A 89 yj with a 4.0 aw4 sye out of an 92xj. Now the hard part is done time to get it up in the air just a bit. Working on 8.8 with 3.73 and lsd for the rear. and new D30 hp with 3.73 .
For those who have not figured this out I'm old school but can handle the new too.

Manny - Someone else on here shared this with me. I thought it might come in handy for you.

http://www.jeep4x4center.com/jeep-se...uals/index.htm

I have read hundreds, if not thousands, of threads on here and it's amazing the percentage of problems that wind up being caused by something the owner has accidentally done to the Jeep while working on it.

Moral to the story: If you moved it, unscrewed it, unbolted it, hammered on it, wiped it off, re-wired or replaced it - Check there first!
