Tube door question..

Might be going to buy a set of tube doors later today. They're for either a tj or jk (the guy doesnt know). How far off would they be for a yj. Im okay with cutting and rewelding but how much other work will be involved?

tj would not be much work and i think they will bolt on. jk doors will take some work. but you will have the latch and hinges and those are the hardest.

He told me that he found out they were for a JK. But the studs in the hinges were too big to fit in his tj. So ill either have to switch the hinges or fab up something. Do you think the handle/mechanism will line up okay?

Anything can be made to work. But why waste your money on something you know will not ? Buy some tube and build your own. There are even kits out there that supply the tube and hardware.

Unless that price is $5 and even then I dont know if it would be worth it. I dont know much about JK's other than I dont like them but I am pretty sure door sizes are different and I garuntee you the latch is workds different.

Its a lot of work to adapt them. Almost not worth it.
