Trying to make a very capable trail jeep

so after some serious consideration i want to turn the jeep into a very capable trail jeep. i was looking at lowering it down a little to make it a little more stable on off camber trails and hill climps. thought about adding tube fenders on the front and comp cut the rear to compensate for the decrease lift...so...

do i...
remove the 2" body lift....i am running a motor mount lift so not sure if i can remove the body lift

OR
leave the body lift and take the 2.5" lift springs off and put stock springs on the soa

or any other ideas would be great!

I would say just cut the body lift down to 1" or buy a new 1" if you can't cut it.

Cut down body lift and ditch the springs for stockers or stockers and waggys or xj's.

91 YJ rebuild! Rush to get it driving/wheeling.

There is no problem running MMLs without a BL. Read here:

Drop the body lift down to 1" and get some XJ or waggy springs to stretch the wheelbase out a bit. Comp cut the rear and tubes in the front. This should be a pretty nice setup for your suspension, but don't forget about all the other supporting mods as well.
