Trying to decode this engine

I would like some help decoding this engine.. I have found on this forum, this link;

This link is great BUT I am not sure what they are calling the left and right side of the motor. Passenger side or driver side? The reason I ask is because I am confused as to what I see. I see the PAD and it appears to have 3z0-x08 tagged on it. I do not believe I see it on the above link. Anyone? This code was found on the passenger front side of the motor.

Thanks !

The engine build code is stamped (not cast) into a machined flat on the block above the distributor
418 miles on 19 gallons of gas. Can't beat the BBD !
