Rik, I agree - this should be added/copied to a sticky. You know I'm a phone call/PM away next time.

As you know, so many folks don't review the stickies and fail to educate themself by not doing so.

So true. I usually try to reference the links when applicable though. I still think the YJ Tech section FAQ is pretty good compared to the other Tech forums.

Thanks Joe. I didn't want to bother you on your cell. I figured a mod would wander by this thread eventually.
The FAQ section on this forum makes a Chilton's Manual look like the instructions for filling a glass with water written in Chinese.
I could have never built my Jeep the way I wanted it without it. JF rocks.

I was thinking last night of how cool it would be if a new user could read the forums etc. but not be able to post a question until you'd actually gone through and read the stickys and FAQ's.

BTW, this is a great easy mod.

Very cool. I'm glad to see they are carrying that plate at a great price. Much cheaper than the Jeep stealership.

Dangit I wish I would've known about that true neutral plate from summit when I rebuilt my TC a month ago.
Nice writeup about it though.

No more chirp, chirp, clunk when flat towing. It should be here in 4 to 6 days. Lost count of the times my TC has been apart

Yeah pulling the TC and rebuilding it is pretty easy and straight forward. Takes little time and effort.
