Trucklites/ IPF

Hey everyone, so I've been wanting to upgrade my head lights for quite some time now, and am looking at the Trucklite headlamp upgrade, but am not really feeling the the black shade to the headlamp, if any body has these would you mind posting a picture up. And I was also looking at the IPF fatboy bulbs, and you gotta upgrade the wiring harness and get there headlamps I'm undecided which ones to pick... or if you guys recommend another LED upgrade ect. I am open for ideas!!! Thank's for the advice in advance- Mike

Clear H4 replacement housings, and go to www.theretrofitsource.com and email them to find out which HID projectors would bolt in best. My brother did this on his Honda, and trust me, it's a VERY nice priced alternative compared to some $800 LED headlamps. You'd even retain low/high beams. It should be about $400 depending on what you choose.

Get a set of these:

With a set of these bulbs:

http://www.amazon.com/Sylvania-9003-...rstar+ultra+h4

Looking at probably $150, the head lights come with bulbs so you can hold off on getting the other bulbs if need be. I had the HID's in those headlights, they are bright but they suck compared to the silverstar bulbs.

I'm running the IPF housings w/ FatBoy bulbs. They certainly weren't cheap ($150ish total), but if I'm in my Jeep, the lights are on, and I have yet to burn one up, and I've been very happy w/ the amount of light and the pattern. They're not as badass as the $1000 HID's fitted to most higher end new cars, but they have a nice sharp cutoff so as to not blind other motorists, and the output is far better than stock. I've yet to rewire them their own relays, though I plan to when I install rock lights, engine bay lighting, better interior lighting, and better reverse lights.

Somebody that want's good quality works man ship on an LED lamp that puts out very good illumination, and is backed up by military use, so you know their good products! LED headlights are not cheap and if your going to do it, I like to look at it as do it right or don't do it all.
