trany mount and skid plate
In this weekends adventure I managed to get both front wheels in the air and some hard drops on my skid plate. Now I am in need of a trany mount and possible skid plate.
Where should I get these? Anything I need to avoid?
Ill get some photos up tonight.

I used a GM poly mount and got a new skid plate from a buddy who did a tummy tuck. I know UCF sells some good ones. I've also seen guys with Rokmen's which are nice. The mount I picked up at Autozone for $30.
I got the idea from Max's thread in the FAQ section:

So 2 weeks later and lots of bicycle commuting I finally get a look at the jeep.
The whole trany is shifted to the driver side.
Photos drive line angle
Shift linkage sitting against tub
And mount bolt comming through the skid plate

It's pretty common for the tranny mount to come apart and the driveline to shift. The OEM style mount, and most of the aftermarket ones, are just glued together rubber. I carry a spare.

That's all I would do is get a new mount. I would also inspect the engine mounts too.

wow, whatever you did shifted your entire drivetrain....a lot!
check out 4wd, 4wheelparts or quadratec, they often sell motor and tranny mounts together as a kit.

I think they are all original with 200,000 miles on them and I just really bounced the crap out of it.

If you have the extra cash now would be a good time to upgrade to some Brown Dog mounts. A lot nicer than stock. I went through a couple sets of stock style motor and transmission mounts before switching.
Offroading isn't easy on parts, might want to upgrade while you have it apart.
