Transmission Fluid

Ok so last night I checked my transmission fluid level and it was at add a pint. I added a pint and drove it home, this morning I started it up let it run for a little, and checked it numerous times. (Didn't drive it for 5 miles yet).

It looks likes its a pint over the Full Line...

What should I do?

Should i drive it while its over filled and let it puke out? Will it wreck anything?

The one rule about auto transmissions is you do not drive with it overfull. It can harm the trans.

I would just do a fluid change because you are not going to get the right amount out.

I just changed the transmission pan gasket, transmission fluid, Transfer case fluid, a little over a week ago with Mean Max.

Good to know, going to call him up and have him come smack you over the head. lol

I would take it for a spin to get the fluid good and moving. Then see where it sits. Just warming up the Jeep in place doesn't do much for the trans IMHO.

I called him last night freaking out when I saw the fluid almost gone on the dip stick, this Jeep severely confuses me... He is going to stop by some time today if he gets done with a lift.

I'll take it for a quick spin, I don't want to hurt its trans.

Just so you know, our automatic transmissions need to be checked when warmed up to running temp, and in the neutral position. X2 on Mean Max slapping you in the back of the head!

its like

add 1 pint | - |Full

- = where fluid stops on dip stick
